  Washington D.C. Bus Trip

Saturday, October 23, 2010

 Bus departs church at 7am and we return home around 10pm

$30pp includes continental breakfast, snacks and drinks on the bus.

Payment is due by Sept. 26.
Join us as we visit the National Mall to tour the Smithsonian Museums and Union Station for dinner.

All childrens' junior and youth choirs will rehearse on Wednesday nights!

Plan to join us for fun-filled family Wednesday nights.

  Children's Choir: Kindergarten through 2nd grade at 5:30pm

Junior Choir: 3rd through 6th grade at 6:15pm

Youth Choir: 7th through 12th grade at 6:15pm

Volunteer & Other Opportunities:

  Backpacks for Better Beginnings: Donate items for back to school: backpacks, marble composition books, two-pocket folders, colored pencils, large pink erasers, pencial erasers, pencil eraser caps, rulers, glue sticks, blunt scissors and 24-pack crayons.  Collecting now in the Gathering Space.

  Aid For Friends: Cook up your favorite casserole! Please donate this  home-cooked item for the elderly and disabled homebound.  We are also in need of homemade or store bought cookies to stock up for the future.  

  A call for counters!  We need help with opening envelopes, sorting and adding numbers! It's easy & a great way to meet people.  You will work in teams of 4 or 5. You need only work the 5th or 6th week for 90minutes each outing. This is a valuable contribution to St. Paul's for just 15 hours each year!

  Greeters Needed: every other month, 20mins. before a worship service, share your smiling face and extend your hand to those as they gather for worship. 

  Scribe mailing help:  Helpers are needed once a month (1-2 hours) to help fold the Scribe

  Altar Guild Volunteers needed!  Volunteers set up and clean up for communion and baptisms. Time commitment is 6hrs. a month for two months each year.  Contact Lee     This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it

    Tabor Home – Diapers and Formula.  Donations of disposable diapers, wipes and powdered formula will help the babies here in town at Tabor Home. Just drop them off at church in the playpen.

  Food Larder's Special Needs:  Shampoo, toothbrushes & paste, soap and deodorant + fruit snacks and juice boxes.  Also needed are notebook paper, pens and rulers. Please drop them off at church on the Gathering Space credenza.

  Garden Table: Bring in extras from your garden: plants, seedlings, vegetables, herbs, etc. - or stop by and pick up some home-grown goodies!  All free-will offerings benefit Doylestown FISH, which provides emergency help to those in need in our community.

2011 Summer Youth Mission Trip to Broad Street Ministry!

Sunday, June 26 - Saturday, July 2, 2011

Students in grades 9-12 during this school year are eligible.

Jion us for this weeklong trip with service projects and opportunities for authentic relationship building with the people of Philadelphia.

Attend a Parent and Youth Informational Meeting on Sunday, September 12 at 11:15am to learn more! Initial deposit of $100 is due by Sept. 29. The total will not exceed $250; scholarship money is available.
