About St. Paul's Sacred Music Series

At St. Paul's, we hold a keen understanding of the value of music as an intergral part of worhsip. Through the diversity of our music programs and throughout the width and breadth of our musical offerings, we seek to enhance the worship experience.

Intended to offer sacred choral music of multiple periods and styles through concerts and worship services, the Sacred Music Series at St. Paul's has been in existence since 1999, providing high quality music to the church and to the surrounding community.

Over the years, the Sacred Music Series has brough a variety of noted performers to St. Paul's, including female a cappella luminaries Anonymous Four, professional male a cappella ensemble, Cantus, Renaissance band Piffaro, the Resident Training Choir of The American Boychoir School, the Antioch Choir from Trinity-Wall Street, Thula Sizwe from South Africa, and assorted college choirs, including Bucknell, Gettysburg, Lehigh, University of Maryland, Moravian, Susquehanna, Syracuse, Wagner College Choir, and Westminster Choir College's Schola Cantorum.

The overall music program at St. Paul's gives further substance to our belief in the importance of the role of music in the church. We support two children's choirs, a Youth Choir, two Adult Choirs, Handbell Choir, and a Brass Ensemble, all dedicated to providing music for our services.

We invite you to become a part of music at St. Paul's by supporting and attending concerts in the Sacred Music Series, by joining one of our musical groups, or simply by sitting in the pews at St. Paul's and allowing our glorious music to become a part of your worship experience.
