Silent Auction to Benefit ELCA Youth Gathering
- On Sunday, April 29, 2012, St. Paul’s youth will be hosting a Silent Auction, Pasta Dinner and Talent Show to raise funds for their journey to the ELCA Youth Gathering in New Orleans.
- St. Paul’s members will have the opportunity to bid for all types of items and packages. How can you help?
- Donations are needed! Would you be interested in donating a product or service associated with your business?
- Perhaps you have season tickets and would donate one set of tickets to a sporting event, musical performance, theater show, or the like? Use your artistry or skill to create something one-of-a-kind. Or give a donation of your time… a talent you have, something that you enjoy, that someone else would be happy to purchase. Think creatively! Make it fun!
Some excellent auction items in the past have been: vacation places and packages, gourmet meals, and theme baskets. Theme baskets can be coordinated with your family or a group of friends to create your gift; each person can donate one item for the basket… and many items make an auction item worth LOTS! Or you can give a monetary donation and one person can shop. SPY can even do the shopping and assemble the baskets for you!
We will ask local businesses for their contributions as well. If you know of a company that might be interested, letters will be available in the Gathering Space. Any support that you can give will be greatly appreciated.
- Above all, please plan to join us for the culmination of the auction at the Pasta dinner and Talent show!
- Please contact Claudine Piechotta at 215-340-0727 or claudinepiechotta@gmail.com for more information.
